About the Artwork
Allison's artwork revolves around ideas of nature, memory, relationships and domesticity. Her art is dependent on the influxes of life and believes it is ever evolving just like herself. At the core of her style, Allison loves using bright colors, illustrative techniques and line work to enhance the beauty of natural shapes.
A couple years ago, Allison's work sifted through how to visualize the transformation of memory into something permanent. Using layered line work, abstract portraiture, and soft materials such as charcoal and pastel she aimed to create pieces about wanting to preserve the fragility of our present reality into a world beyond us.

Working in traditional 2D mediums, Allison uses a range of materials such as graphite, colored pencils, alcohol markers, water color, charcoal, pastels, paint, and relief prints.

She also has a keen eye for digital design including user experience (XD), web design, social media, graphics, and concept art/layouts.
